The Billings Outlaws have been known as not only a championship organization but for great QB play. The name that always surrounded the Outlaws was Chris Dixon. Dixon was an all-league quarterback for the Billings Outlaws who had an 11-year run with three league championships in 2006, 2009 and 2010. Chris Dixon in his entire playing career became the all-time leading passer in Indoor Football History. Then in 2021 Charles McCullum broke his record having now thrown for 12,963 total passing yards. Chris said about Charles McCullum "Charles is a great player. He is a MVP that can change a game. Billings is a place we're winners play, and he will be a perfect fit in the winning way."

“It was important to me to continue the winning legacy of the Billings Outlaws” said Head Coach Brian Schmidt. “Chris Dixon is an all time great, so us having a QB who is also an all time great was important for not only our team but the city of Billings.” Charles McCullum has won league championships in 2014 with the Nashville Venom and 2018 with the Carolina Cobras. Charles McCullum said replacing Chris Dixon in Billings "His game was what you aspire to become in which made passing him on the leader board was as if I became one of the great ones like him.”
