Outlaws sign former University of South Carolina Lineman Ulric Jones

The Billings Outlaws are proud to announce the signing of 6’7" 300-pound Defensive End Ulric Jones. Ulric played college football at the University of South Carolina. Jones redshirted his first season with the Gamecocks and in two full seasons in Columbia, South Carolina, he tallied 71 total tackles, one sack, and four pass deflections.

He was an undrafted free agent coming out of college and signed with the Seattle Seahawks before joining the Birmingham Iron of the AAF. After a stint in the short-lived AAF, Jones was taken in the XFL draft by the St. Louis Battlehawks. In 2021 Jones led the NAL with 8 sacks and was a first-team all-league performer.
